The road towards Miami’s premier supertall skyscraper continues ascending as the city grants key phased permits for the Waldorf Astoria Hotel & Residences mega-development. Rising over 1,000 feet along downtown's glitzy Biscayne Boulevard, the $426 million status project backed by Property Markets Group and partners aims to redefine luxury living in the Magic City's ever-evolving skyline.
Spearheaded by acclaimed architect Carlos Ott alongside local design stars Sieger Suarez Architects, the striking 100-story tower will feature a stack of nine offset glass cubes housing 375 high-end condominium residences. The lower third of the building will contain 205 hotel rooms, over 60,000 square feet of retail shopping/dining, and a 200,000+ square foot parking facility catering to residents and guests.
General contractor John Moriarty & Associates is running construction operations, which recently saw foundations completed. They'll work floor-by-floor over the next six years with engineers, landscapers and interior designers to bring the tower vision to life. When finished, the 1,049-foot iconic addition will offer unmatched 360 views and amenities worthy of a luxury development with supertall bragging rights.
As phased permits outline the project details, it's clear no expense or effort is spared elevating Miami’s standing on the global skyline stage. We'll keep watch on the Walforf Astoria site as this bodacious glass giant continues reaching for the stratosphere!
