Mandarin Oriental Miami Takes Major Step Forward with Construction Permit Applications




The highly anticipated Mandarin Oriental luxury development planned for Brickell Key recently crossed a major milestone with the submittal of construction permit applications to the City of Miami's Building Department. This includes separate permits for each of the two towers:

  • 65-story condo tower with 228 units, 826-foot height, and $237 million estimated construction cost

  • 43-story tower featuring 121 hotel rooms, 28 condo-hotel units, 66 condos, plus parking - with $226 million estimated construction cost

Moss & Associates is the general contractor on both towers, which are being designed by the acclaimed firm Kohn Pedersen Fox.

  • Developer - Swire Properties, the Hong Kong-based firm developing the project.

  • Architect - Kohn Pedersen Fox, headquartered in New York.

  • General Contractor - Moss & Associates, based in Fort Lauderdale.

  • Sales - Cervera Real Estate, leading Miami brokerage.
